Colorado Springs Valentine’s Day Events 2019

It’s hard to believe February is here in Colorado Springs. We hope you’ve had a good start to 2019, and that you’ve enjoyed all of the snow we are receiving. With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, we decided to create a list of a variety of options to celebrate the occasion. You’re in luck if you’re hoping to plan something a little different this year.

Here is our Valentine’s Day list for 2019:

#1  FAMILY VALENTINES CLASS-SCRIBBLE PAINT LUV, Painting with a Twist, February 10, 2019

This is a special Valentine’s Day themed class geared toward younger painters. All ages are welcome, but 5 years old and up is recommended. Cost is $25 per seat. Click here for details and reservations.

#2  LOVERS TOUR: The Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center, February 10, 2019

Hear the story of “The Lovers” during this annual event at the Wolf and Wildlife Center in Divide. The event includes a tour, seasonal drinks, snack and a flower for each participant. Tickets are $35 for 12 years and older, $15 for 8-11 years old. Click here for more details.

#3  PARTNER YOGA, Sunwater Spa, February 14, 2019

Have you been to Sunwater Spa in Manitou Springs? It’s a unique spa experience that offers yoga classes, as well as the opportunity to soak in their cedar pools filled with mineral water. The partner yoga event will lead couples through partner poses, followed by chocolate and chai tea. Soaking for 2 hours before the class is included in the price. Cost is $50 per couple. Registration is required.

#4 FOR THE LOVE OF BEER TOUR, Springs Craft Beer Tours, Saturdays in February

Enjoy a walking beer tour of Manitou Springs with your significant other or a group of friends. Each tour offers samples of Colorado craft beer, a visit to at least 3 craft beer locations, with a little bit of history thrown in for good measure. Click here for details.

#5 KING & QUEENS DINNER, Phantom Canyon, February 14, 2019

The price tag might seem steep at $100/person, but it includes everything you will need to celebrate Valentine’s Day: 2 drink tickets, buffet by Chef Mario Moser, as well as live music and dancing. Tickets are limited so click here for reservations and details.

#6  PINTS AND PIES PAIRING, Red Leg Brewing, February 14, 2019

This might be the event for you if the way to your heart is through food and beer. Red Leg Brewing Company and 3.14 Sweet & Savory Pi Bar are teaming up for this special Valentine’s Day event. Each $45 ticket includes a welcome beer, 3 course dinner, and a half pint beer pairing with each course. Click here to view the menu and buy tickets.

#7  ANTI-VALENTINE’S DAY BAR CRAWL, Local Motive Party Bus, February 15, 2019

If Valentine’s Day is really not your scene, the theme of this party bus might be just what you’re looking for. Your $25 ticket includes transportation to the best Colorado Springs bars and pubs. Anti-Valentine’s Day themed drinks will be available at each stop. There will also be an opportunity to burn old love letters in the fire pit, and prizes will be awarded for the best crazy ex and break up stories. Full details here.

#8  VALENTINE’S TRAINS, Royal Gorge, February 14-16, 2019

Each ticket for these special events includes a 3 course dinner or lunch, round trip train ride, a rose for each female passenger, and a glass of sparkling wine for a toast. If you’re feeling a bit more adventurous, they are also offering the “Matchmaking is Murder” murder mystery dinner and train ride. Check their website for details.

#9 VALENTINE’S IS FOR THE BIRDS, Fountain Creek Nature Center, February 16, 2019

Enjoy some quality time with the family during this short bird hike, and then make a bird seed ornament afterward. $3 for members, $4 for nonmembers. Details here.

#10  VALENTINE’S DINNER, M Lazy C Ranch, February 16

The M Lazy C Ranch in Lake George is celebrating Valentine’s Day in style. Enjoy a dinner, live country music and dancing, and a sleigh ride under the stars. Visit their website for full details.
